Book THE EDAVILLE STRUCTURE PLANBOOK by Peter Barney
this is a book of photos, plans and scale drawings of the structures of the former EDAVILLE railroad.
this book has drawings of buildings some of which existed from the 1940s until they were demolished by Edaville USA, the current owner and operator of the Edaville plantation. These buildings reek with railroad flavor! There's the machine shop; Cranberry Junction Station; Edaville Station; the water tower; the crossing shanty at Eda Ave; the screenhouse house at 14 acre bog; the original snack bar building (which burned in the 1970s); the Barrows house, later used by the signal department; the old chicken bbq pavillion; also scale drawings of the Ocean Spray Cranberry boxcar and Edaville built caboose 554! A map showing the location of sidings used to service the bogs when the railroad was used as part of the bog operation. This is a great reference guide for the Edaville fan.
